Bathroom includes a 4 ft deep X 4 ft sq 2 person soaking tub. Large 2nd story balcony. Walk downtown, access Arkansas River & local hiking/mtn bike trails just down the street. Claire’s Cottage - Cozy House in Nice Neighborhood

Kick back and relax in our retro cottage. The house is a former 1940s store front for the old apple orchard, and it has been remodeled to be a fun vacation spot that we also use regularly. Soak up that country feel while being close to downtown shopping and restaurants. You will have easy access to the Royal Gorge, rafting, climbing, hiking, and biking. The space has a great outdoor area that is decorated with local art. Sit on the front patio and enjoy watching the sunrise over the mountains.

Private River Retreat

The River Retreat, right off of Hwy 50, is a short 10 minute drive from historical downtown Salida. This beautiful home sits just above the Arkansas River with stairs leading to the private riverfront property. Gold medal fishing, rafting, kayaking and swimming from the back door. Here you can get away from the business of life and recharge in nature, yet are so close to town. Hikes nearby and a great deck to just sit and let stress melt away as you listen to the sound of the river flow by.

River Bluff Cottage

French doors open on to a deck overlooking a pond and back yard. This studio is attached to our home, but has a private entrance, fully stocked kitchen and bath. It feels like you are in the country but only minutes from town, the Arkansas River, and trails. A great place to stay while whitewater rafting the Royal Gorge, mtn biking, climbing, or just want to take in a meal downtown and relax on the private deck. The studio offers a queen size bed and a small couch that folds out into a bed.

Built in 1887, the Savoy building is home to this beautifully renovated and appointed Loft. The open floor plan is graced with historic brick walls and original 8' tall windows looking out onto First St. French doors open to a private bedroom, the kitchen is adorned with wood cabinets, marble countertops and stainless steel appliances, and the dining and living spaces are fashionably furnished in a classic urban loft style. A rooftop patio completes the scene for this stylish downtown loft.

Paul Bunyans mountain home in Canon City

Our mountain home is great for family gatherings, friends and children of all ages! This unique cabin was built by a local lumberjack and has a custom carving of Paul Bunyan in the living room. It is on the south end of town, about 5 min. from historic downtown. Rafting, hiking, zip lining, the Royal Gorge are all just minutes away from this comfortable stay.
