A unique studio that is part of a historic double shotgun-style home just across from the New Orleans Fair Grounds Race Course, home of Jazz Fest! Enter the completely private suite through your own private side door to the one bedroom studio, complete with galley kitchen and bathroom. Built early 1900s, our home has been completely renovated. All are welcome to enjoy our Art House, full of light, color and art, just two blocks from the beautiful French Quarter via the Algiers ferry. Once you are nestled snugly in New Orleans' second oldest neighborhood, lovely Algiers Point, you will delight in the original artwork created by your host artist, and in the historic architecture, as you stroll our quaint streets and enjoy restaurants and bars just steps from the Art House, and along the walking path by the mighty Mississippi River.

Welcome to the Crayon Box! Your family will be close to everything when you stay at our centrally located home in Mid-City. Near the Canal Streetcar, just off highway I-10, walking distance to restaurants/bars and very close to City Park. 3 blocks from Endymion parade route! We are kid friendly and can provide books and toys. Queen size mattress. Additional air mattress upon request.
