Rose Cottage is a 3 bed cottage (sleeps 5 plus infant) situated less than 5 mins walk from the stunning beach at Freshwater Bay. Close by is Tennyson Down with its stunning cliff top walks to The Needles as well as beautiful beaches at Totland & Colwell Bay. The cottage has an enclosed front and rear garden plus off street parking. Within short walking distance are Dimbola Tea Room, The Piano Cafe, Farringford House, The Albion, the bus bar and a visiting pizza van in the summer.

With only a very short walk to the high street of Freshwater, with a mixture of shops and restaurants available, plus also only being a short drive, taxi or bus from Yarmouth ferry makes this an ideal break away for all ages. The Sandy beaches of Colwell Bay & Totland Bay are only a short walk away.

You are welcome to bring your dog and walk from the front door in every direction to enjoy the West Wight. Step out of the back gate and onto the bridleway leading over the downs to our favourite place, Compton Bay.

We are only 20 minutes drive from the Needles and even closer to Freshwater Bay and minutes from the Coastal Path. The historic town of Yarmouth has a great choice of places to eat, a Grade 2 listed pier a castle and fabulous views across the Solent. The ferry comes into Yarmouth from Lymington and is a short walk up the hill to our home.
