Welcome to The Shady Place! This charming, family-friendly bungalow is a quiet, private oasis in the heart of downtown. Here, you’ll be close to all area beaches including world-famous Siesta Key-rated by Trip Advisor as the #1 beach in the US, SRQ airport, golf courses, Legacy Trail, UTC mall, Mote Aquarium, Bayfront Marina, The Bay park, St. Armands Circle, Robarts Arena, Ed Smith Stadium-spring training home of the Baltimore Orioles, & Downtown Sarasota’s restaurants, activities & nightlife.

Pool house by the bay

Come stay in our beautiful, Mid-Century Modern, light drenched home just one block from the bay with a private pool. The private yard is surrounded by lush landscaping & the pool is the perfect place to cool off on hot afternoons. The house is spacious & minimally decorated with finds from our world travels. We've recently replaced the bed and the neighborhood is quiet and easy to explore on foot. Note: this is our home, so please expect a warm lived in feel in the space, not that of a hotel.

City Garden Cottage is a cozy and comfortable cottage located in the quiet Laurel Park neighborhood in Sarasota, only a few blocks from downtown. The studio is surrounded by lush gardens and trees. Inside you will find a kitchenette, equipped with a coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, and hot plate. The studio also has a flat-screen TV, a queen bed & private bathroom. There is also shared use a gas grill and fire pit included with the rental.
