A delight for architecture enthusiasts, Bench 170 was a featured venue for the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl for 7 years. Imagine waking up to the sound of waves lapping on the rocks, the sunrise mirrored across the water. Take your coffee out onto the private oceanfront patio where you can lounge in the hammock. Kayaking around Departure Bay is easy as the kayaks are kept just above the high tide mark, grab life jackets and paddles from the yoga room and you’re good to go. Later you can relax in the hot tub. All this 10 minutes from the shops and cafes of Nanaimo.

Mid-island, this rustic cabin is perfect for any couple (or small group) shacking up in the woods. Features a full kitchen inside, outhouse, outdoor shower, fire pit, covered porch & access to pebble beach trails, making this a magical retreat. Please note that while there is wi-fi at the cabin, there is no cell reception on the property, and many guests have mentioned that they’ve enjoyed the chance to unplug and connect with nature.
