Welcome to a central and charming hotel within walking distance of everything – surf, cafés, restaurants, shops, and bars. Only 200 meters from the train station and the gym, and very close to several of Sri Lanka’s best surf spots. We are 2 friends from Finland who have created a friendly and safe central place from where you can explore the rest of the coast. Our local host Praveen will assist you with everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay in the heart of Ahangamas pulse.

This is a first floor apartment on the right side, part of a two-bedroom apartment. The room comes with an attached bathroom featuring hot water and is equipped with air conditioning. You’ll have access to a shared kitchen and living area, complete with all kitchen essentials and a washing machine. Outside, you can enjoy a beautiful green garden with a swimming pool, where you can see birds and monkeys. It’s a quiet and relaxing place, just a 7mins walk to the famous Hikkaduwa surfing beach.

We are situated in a friendly neighborhood 250 meters from stunning Kabalana beach, just outside of Ahangama. At Animals we offer all you need for a relaxed and energizing stay; pool, restaurant, bar, sun beds, chill-out areas and co-working space with AC. On the menu we have international food & drinks, home-made with love and local ingredients, open all day.

Renowned artist Dileepa Jeewantha from Colombo, Sri Lanka designed the designer hotel SAFFRON ROBES LIVING in Hikkaduwa, Sri Lanka, his birthplace. Not far from the ART GALLERY SAFFRON ROBES, surrounded by tropical plants, a cubic non-conformist design gem was created with currently 4 extraordinary rooms, koi pond-lounge, atrium and small restaurant. The ground floor is decorated in dark tones. The areas on the upper floors are white; based on “Heaven & Hell”.

The most central beachfront location on Hikkaduwa beach. Amaroo is an ocean lovers oasis, nestled amongst breezy palms and surf breaks. The room is bright and airy with a comfortable king size bed, AC, ceiling fan and safe. Please note we can't guarantee first or second floor rooms, it depends on availability at time of check in. Rooms have slightly different configurations, but all of the same amenities. We are a 14 room hotel with bar and restaurant.

Please note that the property is located on the main road, so some background noise is part of the setting. We also share the property with two friendly in house rescue dogs, Arana and Nova. Your stay includes à la carte breakfast at our rooftop restaurant.
