Malinggo Homestay- keep Cottage

Built in the midst of beautiful hills, away from the hustles of town is a small village, where I run my homestay- "Malinggo". Malinggo is a name of a bamboo type that is locally found. The Homestay is surrounded by beautiful trees, flowers, hills, local residents and organic fields. Trekking, hiking, village walk and bird watching are some of the adventures that can be done here. We are famous for the Chef’s pizza which is freshly made & guests can enjoy a sip of chilled beer/coffee or a lunch date gazing at the serene paddy fields under the open sky surrounded by nature with unmatched view of the hill for hours. Just 20 minutes drive from Central market our homestay is located near Ban Jhakri Water Falls a spot popular among tourists. A Great place for adventure enthusiast as we have PARAGLIDING service office on the same building. Booking will be done on spot .We are also close to the Lingdum Monastery, which is a Buddhist pilgrimage centre with sprawling complex set amid serene forests. Certainly a place no one would like to miss.

newly constructed house , close to many tourist spots like Tashi view point / Ganesh Tok / Gonjang monastery. These are at walkable distance for people who would like to hike. Tashi view point will have amazing view of sunrise over Kanchenjunga himalayan Range . People who are adventureous can rent bikes and cycle from rental shops close by & enjoy nature at its finest.

The homestay is located hardly 500m from the main town M.G Marg and is in proximity to some popular tourist attractions like the tsuklakhang royal chapel, Ridge park,Tashi view point,enchey monastery, the ropeway, Ganeshtok and other places of interest in and around Gangtok.
