If travelling from KEF Airport to Reykjavik area with the flybus, exit in Gardabaer at Aktu Taktu. Ask the bus driver to stop there. From there you need a taxi to Ljosakur or ask me for a pick up. A rental car is better :) We live above so don't hesitate to contact us. We will help and try to make your stay in Iceland perfect. Or enjoy the privacy. The home is in a great neighborhood that features a nice garden and playground with swimming pools, golf courses and a sports arena nearby. Reykjavik is a short drive away providing access to museums and exquisite restaurants. This is one of the safest place you can find in the city. We recommend to rent a car at the airport (KEF). It's easy to find your ways with a smartphone. If you don't have internet on your smartphone you can use our GPS (Garmin), it's in the apartment in the top drawer under the TV. Swimming pool, hot tubs, gym and golf courses very nearby. Heidmork, one of the most beautiful nature area near the city is nearby. Perfect for walking or cycling. Supermarkets, bakeries, stores and restaurants are near. A new supermaket (Kronan) is in walking distance.

Lovely, little apartment on the seafront in a peaceful neighborhood a 15-minute drive from downtown Reykjavik. Perfect base near the highways to the primary tourist locations such as Thingvellir, Gullfoss, Geysir and the South Coast with the waterfalls, glaciers etc. Comfy one mattress bed (160x200cm=63x79in), tiny new bathroom, a kitchenette to make simple meals in the living room as well as a TV with Netflix. You´ll need a car. Lockbox self check in.

Nice apartment located 10 km from downtown Reykjavík with a free parking.. Swimming pool near by, grocery shops, gas station and good walking trails by the sea with a view over Viðey. Museum and galleries near by also. The apartment is on a fifth floor and in the building are 38 apartments with all kinds of neighbors so this is not a party house. I meet my guests to let them have the key.
