You’ll love my place because of the cosiness, the views, the location, fully refurbished, large garden, decked area, log burner, fully equipped kitchen and the local people - welcoming and friendly. . My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids)(pets).

Carrick Shore's hidden gem (The Vital Spark)

You know your holiday has begun as soon as you arrive at Carrick Shore. It's beautiful sea views and restful atmosphere create a holiday to remember. Tucked away on the beautiful Galloway Coast in the South West of Scotland, this delightful pine chalet has all the comforts for a relaxed break. Set in its own grounds, this chalet is part of a group of beach houses, a stones throw from the sea. You just need to step out onto the decking to enjoy the views and interact with the local wildlife.

Luxury Coastal Boathouse at High Point Sandgreen

High Point Boathouse is a stylish, dog-friendly retreat for two adults, set within the grounds of High Point Beach House. Completely self-contained with its own private entrance and outdoor space, it offers peace, privacy and relaxation. The light-filled bedroom sits within the eaves and features large Velux windows with sea views, perfect for stargazing beneath the dark skies of Sandgreen. Just a short stroll from the beach and coastal walks, ideal for couples and their four-legged friend.

Beth's Bothy; lodge for 2 with hot tub & sauna

Beth's Bothy is a luxurious Snug with open plan living, kitchen area, en-suite & bedroom with king-size bed. Both rooms open onto a patio with private hot tub & outdoor seating. Enjoy the surroundings, the amazing sunsets & the starry night skies. Set amongst the beautiful Galloway Hills, it is an ideal destination for a weekend retreat or a base to explore the fantastic surroundings such as mountain biking, cycling, walking, beaches, shopping. Guests also have access to a wood fired sauna.

Carrick Shore, Coastal home private entry to beach

Spacious beach house with private enclosed garden, ample parking area with private access down to the beach. Well equipped for family life. 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms. TV and Wifi. Plenty of games and books etc for the young ones. Carrick Bay has plenty of opportunities to fish, swim, walk, cycle, sail, canoe, windsurf or paddle board. Or of course just chill with a cold drink and stargaze. Friday check in, 3 night minimum booking in winter months and minimum 7 days from April to November.

Galloway Cottage, Gatehouse of Fleet

A delightful two bedroom Grade 2 listed cottage built in 1786 for the Gatehouse Cotton Mill workers. The town offers the Mill on the Fleet, a visitor centre in the former bobbin mill, telling the tale of Gatehouse's cotton spinning days. The town has a Spar supermarket, chemist, post office, cafes and pubs. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, golfers, climbers, water sports, fishing & art lovers. Gatehouse of Fleet lies on the Solway Firth, in Dumfries and Galloway, a beautiful area to visit.

Blackloch House, Gatehouse of Fleet

Blackloch is a completely renovated detached farmhouse located on the National Cycle Route 7 a short stroll outside the historic and beautiful Gatehouse of Fleet which has selection of pubs and cafes. There are many beautiful walks on the doorstep. Guests love the spacious bright interior and the beautiful sunroom with views over the stunning countryside and the hills beyond. The Solway coast is easily accessible by car or bike and has wonderful secret beaches sandy coves to explore.

Netherthird is a stunning detached farmhouse set in a wonderfully elevated position, with the most glorious views of the surrounding Galloway Hills. Netherthird was fully renovated in 2020 and has been lovingly furnished to ensure a truly comfortable and welcome family retreat. There is an amazing barbecue hut, with charcoal barbecue and ample seating, perfect for enjoying with friends and a glass or two of wine. Relax in the large hot tub taking in the clear dark skies at night.
