The Donkey Dairy is one of a kind! Nestled on the slopes of the majestic Magaliesberg, this working donkey farm is home to a variety of friendly farm animals. On your visit you will be greeted by our alpacas, chickens, donkeys, horses, goats and even camels. If you would like to replace your cell phone’s morning alarm with the crowing of roosters or replace the hooting of cars with the braying of donkeys, the solar powered Donkey Dairy Cottage is the place for you! Inside, you’ll find a comfortable bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and a spacious private living area that includes a dining space and a well-equipped kitchenette — perfect for longer stays or simple home-cooked meals. The apartment is powered by solar backup electricity and a solar geyser, so you can relax without worrying about load shedding.

Guests do not have to share any spaces within the home with any members of the household as it is a totally independent unit even though it is situated within the main house.
