Restored historic dairy barn (1910) on Charlotte’s Run, a retired Hudson Valley farm affectionately known as the (foster) Puppy Farm, whose use includes rehabilitating dogs via Mr. Bones & Co., a 501(c)3 nonprofit. This 400 sq ft studio cottage and deck offer Catskill Mountain sunsets and seclusion, one mile from Main Street, featuring Otto’s market, Universal Cafe, a wine shop, laundromat and more. Walk the property, with its big open fields, an organic orchard, walking paths, and flower gardens. A large private pond is swimmable (after heavy rains it does get muddy). This is the perfectly romantic glamping getaway. This rustic, insulated cabin was designed by my Buddhist mother for a meditation retreat, and to commune with nature. With a firepit outside, electricity and a wood-burning stove inside (the only heat source) and even wi-fi steps away, you have all the fun of camping but protection from the elements without having to pitch a tent. Make use of our community garden, outhouse with stained glass windows, an outdoor shower, and just enjoy the woods.

Farmland Tranquility at The Greig Farm Schoolhouse

Welcome to Greig Farm, a family-run farm since 1942! The Schoolhouse is part of the farm's west homestead, where it sits between our south barn, a plant nursery, and a beautiful pond filled with hundreds of koi fish. We're an active fruit and vegetable farm, open to the public all year long. In the warm months (May-Oct), come pick-your-own fruit and vegetables. Our farm market has a full breakfast/lunch menu and tons of local produce, meat, and other groceries if you'd prefer to cook!

We recently rebuilt the entire interior of an old brick building and imagined the first floor (*** the entrance is at the back of our house***) as a guest unit for our friends & family during visits. When we do not have friends & family visiting, we are offering this space to you! We are architects by training and have placed our aesthetic energy in making this unit modern but also cozy.
