We have Barbado sheep, Ally the llama, Miss Piggy our potbelly pig, and Duke the guard dog. We, the owners are always on-site to help make your stay an enjoyable one.

Our private access to the Pedernales River is only 200 yards away. This riverbank area is shared with other guests . We have a canoe, kayaks, picnic tables and BBQ pits ready for you to enjoy under the shaded pecan and oak trees. We are private, yet close enough for UberEats deliveries!

There is a great variety of quality restaurants in Fredericksburg, just 15 minutes away. Weinheimer & Son Store in Stonewall can provide fresh meats, produce, and any groceries you might need. You will be in the middle of the wine country.

The Lodge at "Barons CreekSide" is on 26 acres, just a 2 minute drive from Main Street Fredericksburg. Close to art and culture, restaurants and dining. Great for families. Sorry, we can not accept party groups. There are 15 additional cabins on the property along the creek and THE CLUB wine bar/bistro. Gateway to all the wineries!

Peacock Hill is just that, a hilltop getaway with beautiful views of the hill country. Day or night you overlook Fredericksburg and the surrounding area. Peacocks, 4-horn sheep, miniature horses, turkeys and chickens roam the property. We also have a hiking trail around the perimeter of the 8 acres.
