Rock Head Paddock

Nestled on the south facing side of Glaisdale Dale, in the heart of the North Yorkshire national park, we have a fully kitted and serviced caravan with amenities including heating, hot water, mains electricity, toilet and shower. Whether you stay for a night on your way past, or a bit longer to enjoy the surrounding area, we have local bus and train services in to Whitby. Local amenities include a shop, post office, butchers and pub. Bring your dogs and give them a break in the enclosed paddock.

Keepers Cottage Egton Bridge

Keepers Cottage is part of the Old Mill, and is a highly commended cottage located at Egton Bridge, which is a North York Moors National Park conservation area, on the coast to coast path near to the coastal town of Whitby and ideal for exploring the moors, the Yorkshire Coast, including Scarborough, Bridlington, Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Robin Hoods Bay. In addition Malton, Pickering and the City of York. North York Moors is officially designated as Dark Skies Reserve right on our door step.

The Smithy at Cross Pipes, Goathland

The Smithy is a self contained stone built cottage situated on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. It was built in the 1800’s and was originally one of two blacksmiths serving the community of Goathland. The Smithy offers you a comfortable base to visit the local area. Spacious studio accommodation with a king sized bed in a recessed area, walk in shower and toilet, full kitchen facilities, wood burning stove, TV and Wi-Fi. There is an outside seating area and private parking.

An ideal place to stay if you are a wedding guest at either Danby Castle or Egton Manor. On the ground floor is a large open plan living room with kitchen leading to the bedroom with en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. A bespoke glass and oak staircase leads to a mezzanine with comfortable sofa and views across to the Esk Valley.

Crumbleclive Cabin

Crumbleclive is a beautifully restored 100 year old cabin set within the dramatic backdrop of Crunkly Ghyll. It was originally the ‘Gun Room’ for the local estate in the 1890s! The Cabin has a balcony overlooking the gorge with the River Esk rapids visible at the bottom. Surrounded by Oak trees you will feel amongst the treetops as birds gather on the branches around you and fly through the gorge below. It is perfect for couples wanting a romantic getaway to recharge the batteries!
