NEW....The Captains Cabin is a delightful, compact elliptical cabin with outstanding views over the Sound of Mull.Situated on the same 4 area site as AirShip 002 and The Pilot House it has its own private balcony (with steamer chairs) which extends over the whole flat roof of the old chapel below. Glencairn Flat

Glencairn Flat is the ideal place to stay to enjoy a holiday in the great outdoors. Ideally situated between Glencoe and Fort William with easy access to the mountains and sea lochs. Oban, gateway to the isles, is 35 miles away. The flat offers a relaxing home environment with a double bedroom with direct access to a private deck with views of mountains and sea loch. A double sofa bed is also available in the sitting room. The kitchen has a 2 ring hob and combination microwave/grill/oven.

Relax with the whole family right in the heart of Glencoe Village. Surrounded by mountains, rivers and the sea loch, you can immerse yourself in the gorgeous highland nature. Secluded and safe garden for you (and your pets and children), you can enjoy mountain views with a fire pit or a BBQ or just enjoy swinging in one of our hammock chairs sheltered from any rain. We have ancient Caledonian woodlands for you to explore, full of incredible wildlife and a wild swimming pond for those looking for a cold water fix - look us up under cotwild The Shepards hut sleeps 2 adults & 2 children under 12yrs on a sofa bed sleeping bag. 2 well behaved dogs welcome.

Enjoy the peace and views at our cosy wee cabin. Beautiful setting on the banks of Loch Eil. Watch the Jacobite Steam Train pass on the opposite shore, along with the sea birds and other wildlife. Easy access to the water if you have kayaks or paddle boards. Located within the grounds of our home, so you share the driveway and garden. Make sure you bring your provisions as we are 35 minutes drive from Fort William and there are no shops or restaurants near by.

Enjoy this gorgeous setting either from the warmth and comfort of the open plan lounge or from your own private deck with extraordinary views over Dumgoyne and the Campsie Hills. You will be surrounded on all sides by fields, woods or mountains but yet be close enough to pop out for a coffee and cake at the local village or taste a wee dram at the Glengoyne whisky distillery.
