The Carley Cabin is your place to create memories of a lifetime, whether you are fishing(one of the best fishing holes), rafting, wine tasting (local wineries galore), going to Britt or Shakespeare, exploring Crater Lake or historic Jacksonville, taking a Hellgate Jet Boat excursion or just a getaway. Come barbeque and relax on the patio or take a walk down to the river and enjoy the fire pit.

Woodland Cottage near Jacksonville Dog Friendly

It seems remote, so your nervous system relaxes on 60 acres in nature's stillness, yet it's only 10-minutes drive to Jacksonville or Medford; 25-min to Ashland. Long stays welcome. Our sanctuary has modern comfort & convenience, a king + queen bed, 2 sofabeds, full kitchen, TV, large library + views. Our land supports evergreens, gardens, ranch critters (chicken, dogs), a shallow pond, hilly hikes to BLM trails, peaceful places to hang out. We welcome Canine Companions ($30/week fee) & Kids.

Roadside Treehouse

A treehouse that is located just two miles away from I-5 on exit 24. It’s by the roadside so expect cars passing by. Studio type. We only have WiFi extender from our barn so sometimes you can’t get a signal from the treehouse. We’re out in the countryside so there’s no street lights. It’s very dark at night. So if you come after dark please let me know ahead of time so I can tell how to get here specially if you come from I-5 south. The GPS will tell you to turn on our neighbor’s driveway.

Welcome to your private cabin up in the trees, just 3 miles from sought after Historic Jacksonville, Oregon-where award winning restaurants, wineries, and adventures await! Stay for a few days or a couple months and we will take care of you just the same! Set among mature Madrones and Pines with views of the evergreen mountains, you will be using all your senses to discover what Oregon is all about. Lots of fun wildlife! This is a tiny cabin, but has all the essentials that you need for your stay. Great location on the outskirts of town (8 mins from Merlin & 15 mins from Grants Pass). The closest access to the river is only 10 mins away at Matson Park! After a day of exploring, enjoy your hot tub with a wooded view or stargaze by the shared fire pit. With mountain views, stunning sunsets and a private wooded environment, it’s the perfect place to get away. Relax, read a good book, take a soak in the hot tub located just steps outside the master suite. The Cozy Cabin is filled with thoughtful touches, from throw blankets to high quality linens and towels, selected to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere.

Tranquility in a Timber Frame

It's now available after 27 years of fine tuning the joinery with a mallet and chisel. From I-5 a 3 mile country road brings you to a circle drive and the structure. It is conveniently located 3 miles from the I-5 exchange and midway between San Francisco and Seattle (approximately 400 miles and 6.5 hours in either direction). The cabin has a loft, wood stove, radiant heat, new patio, washer/dryer, high quality sound system, and an outside chiminea.
