Today, it is a private Estate with big jungle trees, about 4km of trails, fruit orchards and beautiful gardens. The house has been fully renovated and is welcoming and comfortable. A large wrap-around terrace looks out toward Volcán Barú and La Amistad Park. Hacienda Viva offers a setting to slow down and reconnect. Casas Colorado, (with WiFi, 8am to 8pm), is located in Cabo Matapalo at the tip of the Osa Peninsula, surrounded by tropical rainforests and within walking distance to three spectacular beaches; Pan Dulce, Backwash, and Matapalo by walking. We are featuring the Garden House, which you are welcome to enjoy anything that is in season from the garden, including; ginger, turmeric, lemongrass, and a variety of other edibles. We are happy to offer Garden tours for our guests !!
