18th Century Boat Builders Cottage

Grade II Listed Eighteenth Century Boat Builders Cottage. With one double bedroom, one single bedroom, shower room, kitchen area and a small cosy lounge. There is a small private court yard with bench. Car parking available in front of Cottage. A little small for a discovery as you would need a can opener to get out your vehicle. Towels and bedding are provided. The Cottage is situated in a busy town. Although the cottages location is on a side road which Leads to the boat yard and water.

The property provides easy access to surrounding areas such as Lee-on-Solent and Portsmouth and is ideally situated for walkers being on the England Coastal path and close to the South Downs Way. Formerly known as the "shifting house" it was first built in 1898-1899 to accommodate munitions workers changing into the special clothing that they wore when working on magazines.
