Wow! It's beautiful here -- nothing quite like it. All the amenities, but kinda like stepping back in time 30 years to a slower, more peaceful time. On the bank of West Buffalo Creek, close to Cherohala Skyway, Joyce Kilmer, Tail of the Dragon, GSMNP and Lake Santeetlah. Washer/dryer, AC, heat, dishwasher, microwave, TV, on world class trout stream. 1 large br w/2 queen beds, 1 1/2 bath. Campfire/picnic area, ample parking. Pet friendly w/$50 pet fee. Wifi. Fire pit, grill & table creekside.

The hot tub is located on the deck overlooking the beautiful Mountain View. We are just 20 minutes away from Bryson City and the Nantahala Outdoor Center, 10 minutes from Tsali Recreation, 25 minutes from the Smoky Mountain National Park, Cherokee and The Blue Ridge Parkway. There is a book in the cabin with other recommendations

Central to the areas activities, the days can seem short with easy access to Fontana Lake, the Appalachian Trail, Tsali Recreation Area, Nantahala Outdoor Center, Nantahala Gorge, & the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. My place is close to Everything a nature lover could want. Nestled in the smoky mountains of North Carolina this home is near the Nantahala Outdoor Center, the Tail of the Dragon, Santeetlah Lake and Fontana Lake. A great place to retreat to for peace and play.. This home is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families and furry friends. The Portlandia Suite is a large 1 bedroom private apartment with full kitchen and full living room, fold out couch and full bath.

Forget the world in this relaxing, private oasis right on the river. Bring your entire crew and unwind from the daily grind. Enjoy a sauna and a plunge in the river, or a game of pool. Nantahala has no cell service, but we have wifi, and the most amazing piece of heaven anyone could ask for. The river forms a horse-shoe shape around the cabin making you feel like you’re surrounded by nature. Plenty of room for cookouts and children to play. Nothing like a firepit right on the water!
