Above the Trail

Prefer short term stays of 28 days or less, but open to discussing a longer stay. The carriage house is private so that you feel separate from the main house. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood on the side of Eagle Ridge Mountain. You will be six kilometers from downtown Grand Forks, a short drive with lots of shopping. You can easily access to the Trans Canada Trail around the corner from the carriage house where you can hike, bike, ATV, cross-country ski; an outdoor enthusiast's dream!

Iron Mountain Ranch Screen House

This cozy, partially screened guest hut is situated on 200 sweeping acres of pastureland and steep, rolling hillsides. Floor to ceiling windows on the north, east and south facing sides allow for a gorgeous view of the mountains and the lovely night sky + a covered deck. Private outhouse for guests. Enjoy the view, hike, bike, horseback ride, relax by the creek, swim the Columbia or Kettle River and fish Elbow Lake. So much to do and all super close or actually on the property! Hut is off grid

This cabin was built in 2022, with the goal of connection in mind. We live in Fernie BC and have friends and family in Vancouver. It is a great meeting place in the middle. The cabin is inspired by New Zealand architecture as we have ties to NZ. We designed this home ourselves, from layout to furnishings and finishing.
