The Cottage

Unplug in this peaceful little getaway. Nestled in the backyard of our little hobby farm near the Wood River, you will be able to visit our alpacas, goat, or honey bees. Sit and relax on the porch, or stroll through the pasture or neighborhood. In many ways, the cottage resembles a tiny house with a small bathroom & shower, kitchen sink, microwave, induction hot plate, coffee maker, plates, glasses & utensils. Many of the restaurants & shopping amenities are located on the north end of Kearney.

Welcome to…The River. If you’re looking for solitude, masses of birds and a cool dip in a river, then this Loup River cabin and acreage may be just the ticket. Located in farmland but not far from the village of Dannebrog, where you’ll find great pizza and fresh baked goods. There is also a fine grocery store with all the essentials. If you need a bit of retail therapy, Grand Island is only 20 minutes away. There you will find most everything including the Crane Trust, a crane sanctuary.

Historic Haus Von Bartenbach

Welcome to Historic Haus Von Bartenbach! Centrally located in downtown Grand Island, find your peaceful abode through a gated, garden alley. This space was once a “canopy” or add-on boiler room for the historic Bartenbach Building, built in 1882. Take a morning stroll one block for coffee, or a few doors down to a hidden speakeasy at night. Enjoy modern finishings, natural light, laundry. This dwelling has an outside patio adjacent to Henry J’s, an upscale speakeasy cocktail bar.

River Bottom Lodge is a newly built lodge designed for large groups of people to be able to stay in spacious comfort. With 4 bedrooms, 7 beds the sleeping arrangements are comfortable. It has 3 bathrooms with showers. While lounging there are spacious living room arrangements with space and comfort in mind. RBL has an outdoor firepit and a beautiful setting in the morning and evening filled with central NE sunrises and sunsets. Lots of wildlife viewing for your pleasure.

Bluestem Corner Staytion

Being the home of a former corner gas/service station, we remodeled the inside to make it quaint, comfortable, and entertaining for a passer through or visitor of the small town of Palmer.
