Auntie’s Lakeside Cottage

Relax on Lake Champlain with family or friends! Our cozy two bedroom cottage can comfortably accommodate up to four people. Inside you’ll find 500 square feet of cleanliness, warmth and maritime style. A grill and new full kitchen provide the culinary options of home. A stylish bar/island compliments both kitchen and living areas. Outside you’ll find two spacious decks. One has a nautical feel, overlooking the lake, built of original stone and wood. A second larger deck overlooks the meadow.

Get away from hectic life. 18 miles north of Burlington , Echo aquarium, Ethan Allen boat rides, Shelburne Farm, Vermont Teddy Bear Factory, Eagle Mountain lookout, and more nearby. 75 minute drive to Montreal. Reservations for July and August 5 day minimum.

The islands have a great variety of restaurants and breweries all within a 5-10 minute drive. For avid bicyclists, the cottage is about 9 miles from the Island Line Trail parking area, which is where the ferry to the Lake Champlain Causeway is, and then it’s another 10 miles on the bike path to Burlington's waterfront park.

The public boat dock and launch is a short walk down the lane to the river. Conveniently located one exit from Burlington; 16 minutes from BTV airport. Lake swimming beach, hiking, and a winery area all nearby!

Two bedrooms each with a queen bed plus Hazel's Hideaway, a 6× 6 ft. loft off of the dining room/kitchen area with a daybed for 1 child or it can be used as a reading nook. 1 bath with shower, washer and dryer, and filtered water system. Pantry stocked with staples as well as fishing equipment. Games and toys for all ages. Private staircase to the lake. Fire pit with wood. Water shoes recommended.

Lakeside Cottage

Beautiful, newly renovated home on lake Champlain. There are hardwood floors throughout the living area as well as natural stone tile in the kitchen and bathroom. At the front of the house, there is a large four season enclosed porch. The access to the lake is via a steep gravel ramp. The beach is rocky, so water shoes are recommended. Come enjoy stunning views of Isle Lamotte and Lake Champlain sunsets from your private enclosed porch!
