Griffin - The Lake Superior Riverboat

The Griffin is a functioning riverboat, driven by paddle wheels, originally modeled after historic Mississippi steamboats. It is located at a mom and pop boat yard, which is quite different from a fancy marina. Work happens here. Metal is welded here. Engines are torn apart and put back together here. The barn has animals to visit and the farm will be open for walking and berry picking. Guests can play on the playgrounds, sandbox, Dinoland and Fairyland. The home has homemade quilts on the beds and country crafts. The house can also be set up for craft retreats or family reunions. There is plenty of parking and space for activities.
