Staying at MYSA house is like coming home. Quaint, warm, & comfortable. Play a game, relax on the comfy furniture, watch a movie, make some drinks, grill some steaks on the pellet smoker grill, laugh, relax & enjoy the endless beauty & adventure of the North Shore. This unique A-frame is designed & built by our family to create a home away from home. Nestled in 5 acres of woods with stunning views of Lake Superior & the sounds of waves outside your door; you have to experience it for yourself.

The Acorn of Little Sand Bay Dog Friendly

Modern, rustic, Aframe cabin on 10 wooded acres; beautiful, simple décor, fully equipped kitchen, all appliances, glass stove top, airfryer oven, filtered H2O/ice maker. Enjoy a luxurious bathroom, with a heated tile floor, walk-in shower. Towels, shampoo/conditioner/bodywash are provided. King bed in loft and NEW king gel memory foam bed on main floor. Smart TV, wifi. Books, games Woodstove heats the cabin perfectly in the colder months. All wood provided. There is a minisplit heat/ac unit.

Wolf Track Den Cabin - A cozy cabin, located at the foot of the Gunflint Trail and very close to the city of Grand Marais. Enjoy privacy on 3 acres in Grand Marias, Minnesota. Dog-friendly! This clean, modern, Scandinavian-feeling cabin, sleeps up to 5; 1 Queen, 1 pull out couch, 1 twin bed. We also have a full-sized washer and dryer for your clothes after a day of hiking or skiing. If you’d like an early check-in or a late check-out, simply ask as we can usually accommodate these requests.

From enjoying your morning coffee to stargazing at night, every moment here feels like an escape into nature.

Romantic Forest Cabin, Sauna, Trail to Beach

Treat yourself to a deluxe stay in this quiet, newly constructed cabin with picture windows, screened porch and barrel sauna. Enjoy long days and sunsets at Corny Beach, a 10 min walk from the cabin along a nature trail. Visit Bayfield 20 min away or take in the quirky, small-town of Cornucopia and then come home and take a sauna in this peaceful forest! The cabin has an occupancy limit of 2 adults and one dog ($50 pet fee). A SUP board is stored near the beach for guests in summer.

This cozy cabin provides a perfect getaway and is a gem in all seasons, especially during the fall colors or a blowing winter storm. Timber frame cabin built on a hilltop, on 20 acres of old growth maples. Walls of glass, a screened in porch and a wrap around deck bring the outdoors inside. The ridge top location has spectacular views through the trees - with lake views after the leaves drop. The property also boasts a fantastic wood fired cedar sauna - perfect for rejuvenating.

Located in Lutsen, Minnesota only 15 minutes from Grand Marais. The house has heated floors, North woods art from local artists, comfortable beds, and unique architectural features. Perfect escape for weekend away or special occasion.

Our Little House is located just 3 short miles from beautiful down town Grand Marais. There are several stores where you can purchase supplies, a number of fun shops to meander through, good food, great coffee friendly people and of course, Beautiful Lake Superior! There are several hiking, biking, skiing and snowmobile trails as well as lakes for fishing, canoeing and kayaking. We are only 20 mi from Lutsen, and 3 from the North House Folk School to visit or take in a class.
