Bring your crew to Rough River Lake. This 5BR lake house sits on the water on George's Branch, overlooking the water ski slalom course. Sunsets from the deck, then down to the lake in the morning. Sleeps 15. Cook in the open kitchen, gather by the stone fireplace, or dine at the 12-person table on the porch overlooking the lake. Finished basement has a wet bar, ice machine, game tables, and a daybed swing overlooking the water. Firepit, double-decker porches, water toys, quiet neighborhood.

Old Iberia hang out on the lake

We are open for booking s for 2026 seasons. Renovations went great with several upgrades to the living area. Also new awnings installed and out door covered dining area. Check out the new photos and get your dates booked before they’re gone and enjoy our 20 acres backed up to the redline. With creeks and waterfalls a few steps away. With walking trail right to cove of the lake. Easy access for kayaks. Also have several walking trails on the property along the creeks. More trails in the works.

Cricket's Landing

This house provides a spacious area for relaxation and fun! There is a beautiful view of Rough River Lake from the very large back deck. There is also a small upper deck that connects to the upstairs bedroom. The upper level of the house consists of two bedrooms (one a queen bed and the other a bunkbed) and a large bathroom. The lower level has three bedrooms (one queen and two full beds), the dining room, kitchen, living room, and bathroom/laundry room. Plenty of room for family and friends!

The Lake House at Rough River

Bring the whole family to this Lake front property with lots of room for fun! Enjoy the lake and swimming just steps from the screened in deck! Divided on three levels are 4 spacious bedrooms, 2.5 baths, open concept kitchen and living, 2 living areas, and 3 decks to enjoy! There are two sets of stairs inside the home and steps outside the home. Please keep this in mind when booking! Rough River Lake is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers waterway. The water level fluctuates with the season.

Rent in advance (Wax Marina Boat rental) Community ramp 3 mins has a courtesy dock , Iberia ramp 1 mile a sandy beach etc. Buoy Restaurant wet bar over looks Wax Marina YUM -cocktails State Park 15 mins beach/play area, miles of hiking, bike trail.

Rough River Cabin

Check out this peaceful cabin that sits on 11 acres with Rough River in your backyard, where you can fish, swim, kayak on a 6 hour trip and be right back at the cottage in 15 minutes by vehicle. Boat Ramp 15 minutes away. Or 1hr trip start at cabin and end back at cabin. One hr or less to many attractions & 20 minutes from nearest town. Cabin has 2 queen beds + fold out in living room. Hardin Springs use to be a very popular small Quaint town in 1800s and early 1900s. BYO kayaks
