Located next to the owners’ home, but still maintaining solitude and privacy, the cottage is surrounded by open fields and is a haven for wildlife.

'Jellybean' is a lovingly restored 1974 TINY houseboat nestled on the mudflats of an RSPB bird reserve on the West Sussex coast. The beach is only a 2 minute walk away, and Shoreham by Sea, Worthing and Brighton are all easily accessible. Jellybean is a safe space for solo guests or couples to escape. Relaxing is easy in Dry Dock Cottage: there’s a cinema snug, roll-top bath and king-size bed. The high-tech gadgetry means that, at the touch of a screen, you can control the heating, close the blinds, dim the lights and play your favourite music. With spectacular views from all four levels, this open-plan former dry dock sits at the very water’s edge. Open the bi-fold glass doors from the lounge area, to get even closer to the ducks and the boats that pass by. Pets are welcome, too.

Local cultural attractions include Glyndebourne, Drusilla's Park, South Downs Way. This spacious artist's home is located right on the South Downs Way, and it is only about an hour and a half walk to the coast at Exceat. There is a tree house for kids, a couple of swing seats for chilling out on, and the Cuckmere runs through the bottom of the garden.
