Located on a bend in the river you will feel surrounded by tranquil natural beauty. The entire front of the house is windows, looking out at the river. The house has been newly built with all of the creature comforts and a very well appointed kitchen. The hot tub , located outside on the deck is the icing on the cake. This is a perfect getaway for up to 6 people. In the summer you can swim right off the end of the dock on the property. There is also good bass and pickerel fishing in the river.

This rustic, solar cabin has it's own private hiking trail(100m, steep hill) and private parking area. The trail winds it's way up to your private view overlooking Golden Lake. You will feel tucked away in this cozy spot surrounded by mixed oak forest, sitting atop Canadian Shield rock formations. It is a great space for those needing a local place to stay or tourists wanting access to nature. We are steps away from activities such as walking, cycling, ATVing, skiing, snowmobiling can on the nearby Algonquin Trail. We are just 30 minutes from world class downhill skiing and whitewater rafting.

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
