Magical, grade II listed 18th century traditional Lakeland cottage, set within 5 acres of woodlands leading directly to private beaches on Lake Windermere. Relax in a peaceful, natural environment, ideal for friends and families, wild swimmers, cyclists, paddle boarders, hikers and for cosy evenings by the fireplace. A luxurious hot tub (perfect after a hard days hike) and an outdoor wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower are available at an extra cost. Art classes and a tuck shop available.

A romantic little stone Bothy with a sublimely comfortable king-sized bed, heated by a wood-burner & with a private wood-fired hot-tub directly outside. In the summer, swim in the tarn above the village & sit outside. In winter, snuggle up by the stove. Gorgeous views, dog friendly & walking distance to two good pubs and Beatrix Potter’s Hilltop. Wonderful walks & longer hikes right from the doorstep, including Moss Eccles Tarn, Esthwaite & Lake Windermere.Loads of gated off road parking.

A romantic, stylish and cosy cottage for two in the beautiful Lake District National Park, half a mile from the shores of Lake Windermere and a 20 minute drive from Junction 36 of the M6. We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.
