Bus Maia is one of Hotel Balu’s most unique private villas — a fully transformed 1999 Bluebird school bus redesigned into a spacious, artistic, air-conditioned jungle home. Inside, enjoy a king-size bed in the rear, a sleeper sofa in the living area, full bathroom with hot water, and a full-size kitchen with fridge and four-burner cooktop. Features include filtered air, A/C, smart TV, 200 Mbps Wi-Fi, and ample storage. Step outside to your large covered patio in the lush jungle close to the pool

The beautiful Ficus tree is not only an attraction for our guests but also for countless birds as well as mammals such as White Faced monkeys, Agoutis, Coatis and others. Enjoy our private trails, park and delicious breakfasts (available for a small extra fee). NOTE: PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE BUS HEIGHT.

We promise it will be difficult to leave. PS: it is highly recommended to have your own transport when staying here. 4x4 is ideal.
