The "Bird House," a charming 80's "Ishee Style" Bill Allen home, is located in the serenity of picturesque downtown Ocean Springs. The historic shopping & dining district of the downtown, and beautiful sugar sands of the beach are a 5 minute drive by car or a 1.5 mi walk. This house has room to sleep a family of 8, but plenty of interior & exterior space for entertaining. Visitors come for art, bicycling, bird-watching, cruising, festivals, fishing, gaming, shopping and the uncrowded beaches.

Very conveniently located near I-10 and close to downtown Biloxi, Ocean Springs, and D'Iberville (5-7 min drive to all 3 locations). Open plan with a large kitchen and living space, laundry room, and 3 bedrooms along the north side of the house with a Jack & Jill bath in between...large primary suite has over-sized tub. If the Kingfish is booked search Airbnb for Gil’s cottages on the same property, ( Amberjack, Bluewater and Bayou cottages). Well behaved pets are accepted with a $50 pet fee.

This home has 11 ft ceilings, all brick floors and the windows and door have unique antique flare. You will be able to see the Gulf from Rue Magnolia. It is next door to the best restaurants in Biloxi. It is a 3 minute walk the Hard Rock and the Beau, Ground Zero Blues Club and MGM Ball Park.

Welcome to our little place on the bayou. A nice getaway that's not too far away from anything. Take time to unwind on the back porch looking out over the salt marsh. Restaurants, shopping, fishing, the beach and all of the fun the ocean has to offer are just minutes away. Downtown Ocean Springs and Front Beach are a 15 minute drive. New Orleans and Gulf Shores are both easy day trips from here and Biloxi is about a 20 minute drive.
