Mallard Point Micro Resort - Cabin 1

This private peninsula has been a Northwoods getaway for the past 75 years, formerly as a resort and now as a unique collection of just three cabins. This listing is for Cabin #1, a lofted cabin that sits right along the waterfront. Each cabin has it's own firepit, picnic table, grill, and Adirondack chairs. The 6-person barrel sauna, kayaks, and all other outdoor spaces are shared among all guests. We're just 15 mins. from Downtown, Mt. Itasca, Tioga MTB Trails, and the Chippewa Nat'l Forest.

Hand built in the late 1970s the cabin has two bedrooms, a large loft, full kitchen, fireplace, & walk out basement yards from the lake. Modern amenities in a rustic atmosphere the cabin has 1000 LF of shoreline on a private shallow bay. Bring your boat to put on 6700 acre Lake Pokegama just down the street! Roast marshmallows on the back yard fire pit overlooking the lake while playing various supplied yard games. Screened in porch for buggy evenings! Updated kitchen with granite countertops! Your whole family will enjoy this cheerful place!

Lake Cabin

My lake cabin is on a private lake with no public access (Please note, I do not have a boat landing for guests to bring their own boats due to the steep hill). It is near numerous snowmobile/ATV trails, many beautiful lakes, and the Chippewa National Forest. There is 250 feet of lakeshore and over 30 acres of hunting land across County Road 65. The cabin is on over 4 acres; plenty of room to relax. There is a boathouse, dock, two kayaks, a small boat & motor, a fire pit and gas grill.

The deck provides a peaceful view of the woods; and the 3 season porch and loft den offer lovely places to relax and read. In the winter the wood stove provides a toasty ambiance.
