The Retreat is completely screened from the main house (50mts away) by shrubs so your privacy is assured.

Edington on Mary - The Dairy

A Country Escape with Character – Just Minutes from Town You will fall in love with the Old Dairy Cottage, a cosy countryside retreat perfectly positioned near town, along the beautiful Mary River. Nestled on a picturesque cattle property, this charming hideaway features a queen-size bedroom that blends contemporary comfort with rustic character, offering a warm and spacious atmosphere. To preserve the peaceful and relaxed vibe of the property, we kindly ask that pets not be brought along.

Cedar Pocket Farm House is only 2 hours drive from Brisbane and 10 minutes to Gympie. You have full privacy to relax and enjoy. You’ll love our place because of the outdoors space, amazing views, farm animals. You can bring your furry family member, but the house is not fenced.. Our place is good for photographers, couples, friends and families (with kids) and anyone that just needs to get away! No wifi and reception at property can be limited- Telstra is better than Optus reception.

For late bookings there is a key safe. STRICTLY No pets, for guests with allergies and we have wildlife.

Self Contained Unit at Sailfish Cottage

A beautiful, self-contained studio unit underneath Sailfish Cottage, the 80 year old restored ex-principal's residence from the local area is relaxing, private and peaceful, yet close to everything Tin Can Bay offers. Explore this beautiful area which offers wild, humpback dolphin feeding everyday at Nelson Point, lovely parks and walks, plenty of fishing and Rainbow Beach is only a 25 min drive away and Fraser Island is just a short ferry trip from Inskip Point.

Mary River farm cottage

The Cottage has one bedroom with a queen bed, a sofa bed, a bathroom and a small kitchen, with a gas BBQ on verandah. Its suitable for a small family. It has Air-con. The farm has a herd of cows and some cultivated fields. There is a kilometer of Mary River frontage with bird, rare lungfish, frogs and platypus. There are large areas of scenic bush walking. Our place is dog friendly, but prefer the dog to stay outside in the secure enclosure on verandah.

Two Bedroom Townhouse a walk away from Mary Street

Start the day with a fresh coffee made at Soma Soma just over the train tracks from the Historic Mary Valley Rattler. You could grab a ticket on the train to enjoy a scenic trip through the hills of Gympie Region or take a walk down to the town that saved Queensland. Whatever you find yourself doing for the day you can return home to enjoy the sunset on a private deck and a movie streamed direct to your living room TV.

Laurelea is my haven of peace and serenity in a secluded but central spot of the Cooloola Coast, that is Gympie. I've spent years here, working, relaxing, it's my home away from home - and like me and every guest who has stayed before, you'll never want to leave. This property is an ideal retreat, for commuters, travelers, bridal prep or visiting family.
