Imagine a country side getaway surrounded by the beautiful calls of the whip Bird, as you sit on your own private patio overlooking the Tandur rainforest. The Retreat is completely screened from the main house (50mts away) by shrubs so your privacy is assured.

Exercise options abound from beach activities, shaded walking paths to climbing Mt Coolum, golf, or just relaxing. Noosa National Park is an easy 20 minute drive, or the hinterland towns are a wonderful day trip. You’ll enjoy your own space with everything you need to relax, including natures calming ocean sounds for sleeping.

The trains will peak your interest as they roll by, and the beautiful leafy-green outlook will allow you to immerse yourself in peaceful relaxation.

Whilst here, enjoy picnicing by the banks of the creek, walk the olive grove, interact with the animals, set up an easel and paint, relax. Soak it all in with a glass of wine as you watch the amazing sunsets from the deck. Try bushwalking Mapleton National Park and Kondalilla Falls, amble through markets, visit iconic tourist destinations a short drive away.

Take a break from your busy city life and come and enjoy the country. This cabin is located on the edge of the Eumundi Conservation Park, a place where you can enjoy a bush walk or a lazy bike ride. This eco friendly cabin is fully off the grid with solar power, tank water and even a septic tank. Our property is a horse agistment property with 3 goats and a miniature pony called Jerry. We are only 15min to Coolum Beach, 10min to Yandina and 25min to Noosa, accommodating 2 cabins.

Wander around the landscaped 6,000Sq Mtr property. We are just mins from the Gympie CBD, the Bruce Hway & approx 40mins to the beaches of Noosa. NB. Unfenced dam, please supervise children. For late bookings there is a key safe. STRICTLY No pets, for guests with allergies and we have wildlife.

Escape to Cowboy Cabin in the Noosa Hinterland

As you enter through the underpass onto the farm your little cabin is nestled on the grassy hillside overlooking the dam, mountains and train line. As they have done for the past 130 years the trains toot to herald their arrival to town. You have now entered your own little piece of paradise to relax and enjoy. A short stroll to town along a quiet, shady road will bring you to the village of Cooran with a coffee shop, general store, restaurant & brewery.

Welcome to Maggie's Cottage - an old-fashioned Queenslander with modern comforts set in a perfectly private and peaceful corner of our farm (Mary Valley Yuzu). Ideal for one or two couples but not really suitable for children. While here enjoy the rural views, read, chat, bird-watch, relax around the fire-pit, and generally feel the serenity.
