Once a laundromat, the history is in the details, built in 1928 it now has been turned into a beautiful lodge. Stay and relax by the river or explore nearby attractions and sightseeing- From Garden of the Gods, hiking the Shawnee National Forest to Cave-in-Rock, located right on the Ohio Scenic Byway. The Riverside Lodge is a hop, skip and jump to all things Southern Illinois.

Welcome to the Shawnee and "Corinth"! The structure in which you will be staying was formerly a two room schoolhouse that's been transformed into a residence. The school's name was Corinth, hence the name of this establishment. Accessed by a private outside entrance with a deck, the space consists of a bedroom with a queen bed, a hallway, a full bath and a beverage/ closet nook. The deck is a great place to sit and relax while watching the birds, squirrels, rabbits, chickens, and ducks!

It is 2.5 miles from our main resort, where we are adjacent to thousands of acres of Shawnee National Forest, there is a pond for catch and release fishing, paddle boating and a pavilion with games that everyone at the resort is welcome to enjoy. All guests have full use of Resort facilities and amenities.
