There is the beautiful Avonhead park for walks and exercise meters away from the doorstep. It is only 10 minutes drive to Christchurch airport, and 20 minutes drive to the city centre. The apartment is entirely your own private space. We live in the main house, so are available if you need anything during your stay.

Little Melrose Cottage

Little Melrose cottage is the gatekeepers cottage to the Melrose homestead (circa 1907) The location is perfect for a leisurly walk to the town centre (20 mins) and the Museum, art Gallery and information centre (also 20 mins) there are many bars and cafes and supermarket within 10 minutes walking. Although small and compact, the cottage is equipped with oven, microwave, stovetop and washing machine. It is perfect for couples, solo travellers or those travelling for buisness.

Garden Studio With Ensuite (Breakfast included)

Welcome to our ensuite studio, surrounded by a peaceful, green & relaxing garden. Perfect for recovering from a long flight. 10 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes to the central city Plenty of off street parking and an excellent bus service to the central city. The bus stop is a 2 minute walk. Please be aware that the kitchen & dining area are in the main house and are shared with the hosts. You are very welcome to use both areas. Airport transfers are $15 each way.

Upstairs is 1-full size bedroom with great view outside the slide door window, which includes 2 large built-in wardrobes. Also a full size bathroom.

Delightful Sleep-out in Bryndwr

This newly renovated private sleep-out is situated in our beautiful backyard at our home in Bryndwr. We are less than 10 minutes to both the CBD and Christchurch airport. We enjoy meeting new people from different places and so does our golden lab Chloe. We are also pet friendly. Please contact me before confirming your booking with your pooch. Unfortunately we have had a couple of bad experiences. There is a $15.00 charge if you are travelling with your dog.
