Enjoy your stay at Cottage 79! A lovely space to unwind & relax after a busy day whether it's work or play. This is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, 500 sq ft cottage with a cozy atmosphere. We are conveniently located 15 minutes to Cornell & 20 min to Ithaca in a country setting. The cottage includes a well-stocked kitchen and living room with smart TV and free Wi-Fi. I live onsite at the house next door to the cottage. Please note: There is 1 step up in the kitchen & 1 step down to the living room.

Canaan Country Cottage

This is a private, rustic and cozy vacation camp that has been partially modernized with an addition containing two bedrooms. The original part of the building still has that Adirondack camp feel; woodsy and camp-like, but very private. Secluded and also close to Hammond Hill State Forest with many miles of trails for mountain biking, hiking and xc-skiing. The cottage sleeps 4 to 6. We recently upgraded the internet with a fiber connection, and added a propane grill on the back deck.

Other tenants include our poodle (Angélique) and Trouble, our outdoor cat. If you feel butch, you can start a fire and relax around our bonfire area or strip in your swimsuit and hop in our hot tub.

Home in quiet residential neighborhood. 15 min to Cornell, 20 min to Ithaca and Ithaca College, 15 min to Greek Peak ski resort. On-site parking. Rental includes private first floor (separated from upstairs). Upstairs is occupied by a respectful couple and their dog Finn. Surrounded by many great trails for hiking! The Rail Trail entrance is down the street. Check in at 3pm and check out 11am
