Magic Mountain Cottage: family- & dog-friendly

There is nowhere quite as magical as this: an historic, creaky cottage, at the end of a farmers track below Cader Idris. It's a back-in-time experience, with wooden beams and antique furniture, owned by the same family for over 60 years. Please read all the details carefully before you book. It’s a 300 year old cottage on the side of a mountain, space, fresh air and tranquillity. It's comfortable but nothing fancy. No TV or wifi, but a woodburner, books and massive views behind the cottage.

A fabulous spot to explore the many treasures of the peninsula.

Cosy quaint Cottage, Porthmadog

2 Bodawen lodge is a cosy cottage , set within easy walking distance of Porthmadog and Tremadog. And with good link to Beddgelert , Black rock beach , Criccieth and the Snowdonia national park. There is a children’s playground about 200 yards away across the road. 2 Bodwen can hold 4 guests and this is to include any infants or children. Just for clarity the games room is no longer available

Facilities at the house are based on a couple sharing but there are bunks which can be made up. Balcony overlooks the Dwyryd Estuary and Ffestiniog railway. Porthmadog - something for everyone - mountain walks, seaside, shopping or a base for the Lleyn Peninsula.
