Gwarcwm Farm Crog Loft Hot Tub and Riverside Sauna

A crogloft is a traditional Welsh mezzanine, tucked away in the eves. Somewhere to quiet retreat to. Gwarcwm's Crog Loft is at the heart of the home, an old farmhouse beautifully restored. We hope you will love it as much as we do. The house is attached to a small field that slopes steeply down to a river at the bottom. We've recently finished building a sauna next to the river and installed a wood-burning hot tub, making this a perfect place to wind down when the day's adventuring is done.

We are only 4.5 miles from the beaches along our amazing Pembrokeshire coast and our central location makes us an ideal base to explore our County. Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Wake up to the sound of the babbling river and bird song from your open bedroom window. Bwythyn Afon (River Cottage) is situated on our small holding at the foot of the Preseli Mountains and is a short drive from Pembrokeshire's beautiful coastline with its many beaches and the famous coastal path. With its separate entrance, own parking space and sole use of riverside patio, it truly is a place to relax after a busy day exploring the area.

‘Driftaway’ on the water

Get away from it all in our peaceful little nook located above the beach at Llanreath. Only 5 minutes to the historic 13th century town of Pembroke. We are 15 minutes by car to the beaches at Freshwater West, top surfing spot and home to Dobby’s Grave, Broadhaven South and the stunning Barafundle to name but a few. In addition the charming seaside towns of Tenby and Saundersfoot are only a 20 minute drive making Driftaway Cottage the perfect base to explore all Pembrokeshire has to offer.

Delightful and homely Newfoundland Cottage

Our super cosy cottage has free off road parking and is situated in the foothills of the Preseli's with easy access to walks. Ancient monuments and beaches can also be found within 20 minutes by car. The cottage has a double bedroom with a sumptuous Hypnos mattress, plus a sofa bed in the living room if needed. The modern bathroom has a large shower but no bath. The newly fitted kitchen has a washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with icebox and Bosch oven and hob.

From your mezzanine bedroom, you'll relish westerly views that extend either across the natural beauty of our grounds or over the rolling valleys of Pembrokeshire, leading to St. Brides Bay and the awe-inspiring Welsh sunsets.
