You will look down upon crashing waves and out across the Bay to Hilo and to the surfers gliding down the silver waves. The view is dramatic but relaxing. During whale season, this is the best possible location for viewing. Sometimes they come so close you can look into their eyes. The house is fully equipped and air-conditioned. . Garden of the Phoenix is a 2 bed/1 bath, upstairs unit with a lanai facing State Land, 100s of acres of native Ohia Forest, the first tree to sprout and grow on freshly cooled lava. It is about 1.5 mies from Kehena Black Sand Beach where wild dolphins sometimes swim and beach goers host a Sunday drum circle. The neighborhood has a Dark Sky policy to promote star gazing.
