This house has frequent visits from elk and turkeys as they travel to the creek. Sorry, no pets.

This family friendly, private retreat sits on a gently flowing creek under the shadows of Cold Mountain and the Art Loeb Trail. You may want to sit on the covered porch or deck while listening to the creek. If you love the outdoors or are a hiking enthusiast, our cabin is for you. We are about 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Waynesville, Canton, Maggie Valley, and Lake Junaluska are approximately 30 minutes away; a 45-minute drive will take you to Asheville.

After a day of exploring the Biltmore Estate, hiking along the Blue Ridge Parkway or visiting downtown Asheville, enjoy the hot tub while listening to the creek! Drive 8 miles up the mountain to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Hike Mt. Pisgah for a 360 view, go to Graveyard Fields+Waterfalls for a hike and dip in the water or visit Looking Glass Falls. Drive 20 minutes to Haywood Rd in West Asheville, downtown Asheville, the Grove Park Inn, breweries or the Biltmore Estate.

This is a great little efficiency by the river that offers a great porch overlooking the Pigeon River. This is the perfect getaway for two, in the mountains of Western North Carolina, who want somewhere to stay that is affordable but with all the amenities. We are located approximately 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 20 minutes to the quaint town of Waynesville and 3 miles from Springdale at Cold Mountain Golf course. Asheville is a 30 minute drive.
