Everything here is new—from the deck and outdoor area to the thoughtfully designed interiors—offering a serene escape that feels both private and connected to nature. The Stables Cottage - North West Auckland

The Stables is a quaint country rural cottage set amongst rolling green hills, this fully self contained rustic cottage is beautifully appointed and sleeps up to 4 adults or 2 couples in 2 bedrooms. The cottage sits in the gardens of the owners farmhouse yet you are in complete privacy of all, on this working beef farm. Its location is central to many wedding venues & vineyards and only 45 minutes from Auckland's CBD, making this a perfect location for wedding accomodation or a country escape.

The Black Barn

In the heart of wine country, this loft-inspired renovated barn is truly one of a kind. Whether you’re in the area for a wedding or a romantic getaway the Black Barn is the place to stay. With a choice of vineyards, breweries, strawberry picking or walking the trails of the Riverhead Forest there is something for everyone. 15 mins drive to the beautiful black sand beach of Muriwai, famous for its gannet colony, surfing, golf course and stunning sunsets. Sorry we have a strict NO parties policy

Walk down end of drive to view Kaipara River. 2 Minute drive to Parakai Mineral Pools and Helensville village, or 10 minute walk to Helensville river walkway to local cafe's or supermarket. Short drive to Muriwai Beach and South Head walking tracks and lakes. Trolley bed for extra adult available, $20 night.

Hosted by retired Kiwi couple happy to show what NZ has to offer - looking to meet friendly, trust-worthy visitors. The guest-house faces the back of the main house, separated by the pool and spa area. Lounge area, kitchenette, bedroom, ensuite, covered balcony, use of plunge pool, spa and flower gardens. Laundry amenities at main house and secure on-site car parking. Close to village, semi-rural with sheep on the boundary fence. Must be dog-friendly (2x friendly, pet dogs on-site).

Karaka Seaview Cottage

A peaceful , private , luxuriously appointed replica of an original NZ Settler's cottage located in the heart of Karaka. Lovely spaces to take advantage of both morning and afternoon sun, stunning gardens and view , a tennis court and swimming pool . Spacious Italian tiled bathroom with walk in rain shower and luxury toiletries. A separate dressing room . Gloriously comfortable Sealy Crown Jewel Bed with Frette linen , and a pillow selection. This cabin offers all you need for a retreat, with a modern interior and furnishings, and off grid. Take a walk down through nature, or just sit back and enjoy the view with a barista made coffee delivered to your door, we know you’ll leave feeling rejuvenated and completely relaxed! Only 20 min to Matakana or 15 to Warkworth town!

Quiet, rural setting to retreat after exploring all that the North Shore has to offer - our cottage offers a country backdrop, right next to Albany and a short drive to most North Shore Attractions. Perfect for a city escape, a staycation or exploring The North Shore or further North. Very close to Massey University, Albany malls and popular beaches. Unwind in a stylish, modern cottage with a sizable deck looking out over native bush.

Misty Mountain Hut - Piha

A tiny isolated hut amidst Kauri and Rimu trees to escape the world, self check in. Outdoor Fire, long drop, outdoor hot shower/bath. Surrounded by Tuis and Wood pigeons the hut is close to Piha and Karekare…or simply stay and enjoy nature. Beaches are 10 minutes away by car. Grocery shopping and gassing up recommended beforehand. Misty Mountain Hut supports local Piha staff by paying $40/hr.
