This custom built Tiny House is situated on over 100 acres of rolling farmland, hills and forests, with Scottish Highland cattle, chickens, sheep & lambs, pigs, fish in the pond, and 2 beehives. You have use of the entire farm during your stay. Located about 45 minutes south-east of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania's beautiful Laurel Highlands, there is lots to see and do both on site and nearby. Thelma’s Place is a completely renovated 2 story house, nestled in the beautiful Laurel Highlands, yet conveniently located right along Route 982. It’s just minutes from Arnold Palmer Airport and the city of Latrobe, as well as Westmoreland Fairgrounds. Pittsburgh is within an hour’s drive. Ohiopyle, Fallingwater, and Seven Springs (20 miles away), are other nearby attractions. We welcome long term stays, including guests looking to work remotely. It truly has a “home away from home” feel.

In the fall, enjoy the beautiful autumn colors for which the Laurel Highlands are famous. There are numerous shopping and dining options within 20 minutes. We welcome extended stays!

Bring everyone along for the trip, including Fido! Our home is a cozy, yet spacious Cape Cod southeast of downtown Pittsburgh. The backyard faces a beautiful and peaceful meadow. The yard is fenced in and has a small garden filled with herbs and tomatoes during the summer. Our home has all of the amenities to make your stay enjoyable and easy. We keep our home clean, organized and stocked with essentials. The beds, pillows and sheets are new and comfortable. Parking is plentiful and easy!

From this location you can quickly walk to the Mon incline which offers transfers to Pittsburgh's subway system called the "T" at Station Square. You can ride the T to Heinz Field, PNC Park, Rivers Casino, PPG Paints Arena, and all the downtown Pittsburgh cultural districts. You are also very close to the University of Pittsburgh, Duquesne, and CMU. Great location!
