The log burner makes the sitting room warm and inviting. The cottage also has a nice dining room and well equipped kitchen with an AGA and an extra oven. The bedrooms are cosy and welcoming. A large garden. Surrounded by fabulous walking, cycling and beautiful places to visit, this is ideally located.

The Booking Office, Stoke Edith Station, Hereford

Nestled within the rolling hills of Herefordshire and surrounded on all four sides by Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this is the perfect place to enjoy the English rural idyll, with plenty of railway history thrown in! The accommodation is situated on the site of the original station building which was operational from 1861 - 1965, and has been rebuilt in the style of a typical Great Western Railway building of the Victorian/Edwardian era. Dog friendly, but we stipulate a two dog maximum.

Lower Green has been a working cattle farm for three generations. Glyn was born here, the youngest of seven siblings. We opened Orchard View 14th century cottage to guests because we wanted people to experience what we experience every day, the peace, the dark skies, the particular stillness .The spring water still runs cold and clean. The owls are still in the oak trees. The fields still look the way they did when the drovers passed through. We've tried to change as little as possible."
