Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. Very peaceful and relaxing with plenty of bird and marine life at your doorstep. A paddle in our double seated kayak is a must when the tide and weather conditions permit. Paddle a short distance across to the island or to the mouth of the lagoon and enjoy a picnic under one of our sun umbrellas. Have a dip in the mix of the fresh lagoon water and the Atlantic Ocean. In certain months of the year enjoy windsurfing at our door step too

‘Moonshine Cabin’ With Spectacular Lagoon Views

Moonshine cabin, located on the banks of the Klein River Lagoon, Hermanus, is a much loved home, filled with happy memories. The cabin has a spacious open plan living area with WiFi, air conditioner and tv in the lounge. The living area leads out to a deck, with a seating area and braai. The cabin sleeps 6 guests. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed with views and ensuite. The second bedroom has a queen and a single bed. The third bedroom is a single. There is a kayak for guests to use.

Birdsong

This delightful house is tucked away in a grove of trees overlooking the Vermont Saltpan,which is a bird sanctuary. Recent solar panels on the roof feed into a battery and inverter system. Loadshedding is no longer an issue. This tastefully furnished, four bedroom home, is fully equipped caters for upto 8 guests. The perfect place to getaway from it. The Saltpan is fed only by rainfall and run-off from the mountains and in years when there has been low rainfall the pan often dries out.

Inspired by the natural surroundings, providing a holistic experience of relaxation, restoration & connection, encapsulated by considered design. Thuúla Haven is a dwelling response to luxury that tread lightly. Situated at the foot of the Hemel and Aarde Valley and only 30mins from Hermanus. Overlooking a dam where you can swim, SUP or simply enjoy the sunset at the fire pit. We also have walking trails in the mountain surrounded by fynbos that leads to a waterfall and natural pools.

In winter the big fireplace/indoor braai creates a wonderful warm atmosphere. Fully equipped and close to local cafes and nature, it’s ideal for a fun, relaxing getaway by the sea.

Cabin consists of a master bedroom (double bed), a kids' loft (2 singles and entertainment galore), a bathroom, and fully equipped kitchen. 🌲 It may be tiny, but it's BIG on charm 🏡 Note: Steep loft stairs - not recommended for children under 8. Beach access via bridge currently unavailable.

Belle Cabine - Log Cabin in the Milkwood Trees

20 Mins from Hermanus and 1.5hrs from Cape Town, hidden in the beautiful Middlevlei Nature Reserve on the mouth of the Bot River is this majestic log cabin. The cabin is situated within a 200m walk of the lagoon and 1km from the beach. It consists of 2 bedrooms (2 x DBL bed, 1x Single Bunk) & 2 bathrooms, indoor fireplace, open plan lounge, dining, and kitchen area downstairs with a balcony upstairs. There is a large outdoor entertainment area with a built-in braai and picnic table.
