Perfectly situated on the NC500 and cycle route, this newly built well equipped shepherd's hut is a cosy place to rest your head. It sleeps up to 3 people. A microwave, kettle, mini-fridge and crockery make up the kitchen area. There is free wifi and a digital radio with bluetooth. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. Views across to Ben Wyvis and the Cromarty Firth are outstanding and the night sky is excellent for star gazing. Red kites and hares are seen often. Licence No HI-20261-F

One mile off the popular NC500 tourist route, our two pods and a Shepherd's Hut offer peace and quiet in an idyllic location with some amazing sunrises, sunsets and starry skies.

Situated in Upper Inverroy, near Roy Bridge, and with unbroken views to some of Scotland’s highest and most beautiful peaks, Rosie is ideally placed for visitors who are keen to explore the beautiful mountains, glens, lochs and coastal waters of Lochaber, the outdoor capital of the U.K. Rosie was built in 2019 upon an original early 1930’s road workers’ living wagon chassis. Situated in a private position adjacent to our house, Rosie looks out towards  the magnificent Grey Corrie mountains.

It is secluded within trees in a farming environment, providing a peaceful getaway close to the many spectacular attractions of the Loch Ness area. It has been finished to a very high standard (full kitchen and plumbed-in toilet/ shower-room), while exhibiting a bespoke rustic style. A perfect haven for a relaxing break in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, the location featured in the Outlander TV show.

A complimentary breakfast basket is provided & the hut is stocked with beverages also DVD player, DVDs, books and games for wet day entertainment.

Within walking distance of the village of Dornie which has places to eat and drink, a local shop and of course the castle, on the road to Skye. Great if you enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Scottish Highlands.

Our quirky, cute shepherd's hut sits in a peaceful orchard next to our house, and near to an historic mill. It is ideal for one or two people and comes equipped with a comfortable double bed, a folding table, a small kitchen area with a microwave, kettle and toaster and a tiny private bathroom, with a hot shower. Outside, the decking provides a space to relax. The BBQ provides an option for dinner. Drinking water is from a tap on the side of the hut.
