The guest rooms are two Western-style rooms on the second floor. If you wish for barrier-free access or if there are more than 6 persons, we will guide you to a Western-style room on the first floor (open the sliding doors to 16 tatami mats). One person can stay in a private room for the same price. Private rooms can be reserved for 3 or more persons on the second floor only. Please make sure to inform us of your wishes at the time of booking.

There are natural hot spring facilities and restaurants serving local food within a 15-minute drive, and a famous local yakiniku restaurant is a 1-minute walk away. 欢迎来到和纸艺术家理查德·弗莱宾的家中！ 理查德·弗莱宾（Richard Flavin, 1943年-2020年）是美国籍和纸艺术家。他在波士顿学习设计，服兵役期间被派往韩国，在休假时被镰仓的魅力所吸引，于1970年再次来到日本。 随后，他在东京艺术大学研究生院学习木版画，并对和纸的制作工艺产生了浓厚兴趣，最终移居埼玉县小川町。他在当地的制纸工业试验场掌握了手工和纸的制作技艺，并亲自培育和纸原料的楮树，从和纸原料的培育到作品制作的整个过程均亲力亲为。 家中随处可见融入和纸的精美设计。此外，理查德先生收藏的珍贵古董也陈列其中，营造出独特的韵味。 这座房子是理查德先生倾注心血打造的终身居所，堪称他的艺术杰作。 部分区域尚未完工。 我们希望对和纸和艺术感兴趣的朋友，能够入住这座如同“和纸美术馆”般的空间，细细品味其独特魅力。 在宁静雅致的空间中，请您尽情放松，享受悠闲时光。

Crafted with domestically sourced Japanese timber, it features a traditional Tatami room and beautifully blends Japanese and Western architectural styles which several Japanese Media featured in TV.
