Nestled at the woods edge and named after our resident owl, Hooting Haus is a European styled cabin retreat close to all Penn State offers. The gourmet kitchen's rustic charm features a zinc island, butcher block counter and natural stone wall. Entertain guests at the artisan crafted pine table while dining next to the antique fireplace. Relax with a hot tub soak, then cap the evening sharing stories under an inky sky gathered round the fire pit with a soothing hot toddy or mug of creamy cocoa.

This delightful retreat is tailor-made for couples seeking solace, showcasing a charismatic fireplace, an outdoor fire-pit, and a secluded hot tub. Upon entering, you'll be greeted by a generous and airy layout, flooded with radiant natural light. The living room boasts a snug queen-size Murphy bed and an intimate fireplace, creating the perfect ambiance for snuggling up during crisp evenings.

Self check for convenience Tiny cabin with all you need squeezed into it for pleasant stay. It is located on a secluded property not far (5 miles) from major interstates. It is a small guest house across the lawn from our house where my wife and I live. It has window AC and wifi available. Free continental breakfast foods provided. (There is no kitchen) Cleaned to perfection ! We do spray for bugs but it is not unusual to see some spiders and bugs since the cabin is right against the woods.
