Overnachten in het historische centrum van Vaals. De Franse Kerk dateert uit 1667 en is in 1837 omgebouwd tot woonruimtes. Dit Rijksmonument is in de stijl en materialen gerestaureerd van 1837. Het authentieke interieur is vakwerk en met leemstuk afgewerkt. Winkels op loopafstand. Drielandenpunt 2 km. Vaalserbos 200 meter Houtkachel. Binnenhofje met zithoek. In overleg gebruik familietuin. Appartement op 1e verdieping. 2e verdieping bewoond en gezien de aard van het gebouw is het niet muisstil.

Die Wohnung befindet sich in der 1. Etage und ist über eine Aussentreppe erreichbar. Hier befindet sich auch eine kleine Terasse, die genutzt werden kann. Die Wände innen sind mit Lehmstreichputz verputzt, der Fußboden mit Dielenbretter ausgelegt. Die Wohnung liegt in einer ruhigen Nebenstraße. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel (Bus und Bahn) sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Eine regelmäßige Verbindung nach Aachen, Herzogenrath oder die Niederlande ist in 10-15 Min. Fußweg zu erreichen.

Das Haus liegt in einem Vorort von Aachen, nahe der niederländischen Grenze im Herzen der Euregio. Die dörfliche Umgebung bietet einerseits Ruhe und eignet sich andererseits hervorragend für einen aktiven Urlaub (Wandern, Radfahren). Die Stadtmitte mit dem Weltkulturerbe Aachener Dom ist 8 km entfernt. In wenigen Minuten gelangt man in die Nachbarländer Niederlande und Belgien und genießt dortige lokale Spezialitäten und das unterschiedliche Flair der Ortschaften.

In our house (10 km from the city centre) you will find a separate one-room-apartment with own kitchenette and bathroom. It's easy to get to the city by car (15-20 minutes), turning to the other direction it’s a short way to Eifel, Hohes Venn and Monschau. Check-in from 3.00 p.m. Check-out by 12.00 noon (Early Check-in and late check-out may be possible by appointment, depending on connecting bookings.)

老磨坊公寓

The apartment is on the second floor of an old limestone building, around 350 years old. You sleep right under the roof in a cosy little bedroom or on a convertible sofa. The Dutch and German border are both about 8 km away.
