Minimalism, simplicity and luxury combine to create an experience you will always remember, whether it be a romantic getaway, a relaxing retreat to recharge or a base to explore the magnificence of Bruny Island.

@driftwoodbrunyisland is a unique handcrafted cottage overlooking the Southern ocean on beautiful Bruny Island. Full of warmth and character the cottage invites you to relax, unwind and just be.... Cosy up by the fire, read a book from the cottage library, indulge in some delicious local produce and enjoy the abundant birdlife and wonderful ocean views. Set on two acres, you can wander and explore the gardens, relax in the new barrel sauna and admire the beautiful wildlife.

After arriving on popular Bruny island it is a joy to leave the crowd behind as you wind down the private road through towering trees to the shores of sheepwash bay. Designed with couples in mind the shack is the perfect place for relaxation and romance. Set on the waterfront, in a national park like setting it offers an intimate retreat to call home during your exploration of Bruny Island. Home to the bruny baker you will awaken to the smell of sourdough baking .

Centrally located in Alonnah, it’s the perfect base for exploring Bruny’s wild beauty. AERIE retreat. A private designer apartment in the bush by the water. Walk down to the very private Wilderness Deck for exclusive use of the Timber Hot Tub, Sauna and fire pit. Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.
