Eagleview Cottage is a peaceful getaway tucked in the trees in a private seaside community of 19 cabins. Walk a few minutes down to our private beach where you can play in the sand strip, beachcomb for geoducks, crabs and starfish , watch sea life or use the firepits. Explore the many hiking trails, lakes, golf courses or walk to Bowser Village for coffee and shopping. Our cottage has it all! This is an attached cottage with a private entrance and off-street parking. It is on a ten acre lot, not seen from the road nor overlooked by any building. The bedroom has a double bed, and the sofa can convert into a second comfortable double bed. There is a fully furnished kitchen, a bathroom with shower, a 4 place dining table, a big desk, WIFI, and HDTV. There are lots of windows, two big cedar decks, and a bbq grill. It’s light, airy and peaceful, set in a lovely garden with mountain views.

Close by: Kingfisher Resort and Spa is a 5 minute drive away for pampering yourself with a good meal or spa treatments. Mt Washington Alpine Resort is 45 minutes away for skiing cross country or downhill in the winter, and hiking in the summer. Seaside swimming, reading and relaxing!

Located on our 5 acre free range egg farm in Merville, BC. The pond is home to a family of beavers, bald eagles, blue heron and various birds. Private walking trail off the cottage and access to the One Spot Trail at the end of our private drive. We are 20 mins from downtown Courtenay and 10 mins to the Mount Washington turn off.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located place. This is a great kickoff spot for those looking to explore central, west, and north Vancouver Island. We are a few minutes walk to Sunny Beach Road, a favourite beach spot amongst locals. A cafe, pub, ice cream shop, and many nature trails are all just a short walk away. The cottage is equipped with a queen size bed. A fold out cot is available for a 3rd guest.
