Historic Loblolly Lodge at Ratcliff Lake

The Loblolly Lodge was built by Frank Taylor as a gathering place for his family around 1940. Remodeled in 2018, it now boasts of all the modern conveniences for a great getaway. With 2400sf of indoor living space & a 640sf covered back porch there is plenty of space for several families. The Lodge is nestled on 11 private wooded acres adjacent to Ratcliff Lake Recreation Area in the Davy Crockett National Forest which offers fishing, swimming, picnicking, and hiking for a small entrance fee.

Staying here is like a visiting your Mamaw's house. It's simple, old fashioned decor is family friendly. The big front porch is a perfect place to sit with your coffee and watch the birds and butterflies, which are plentiful. Located adjacent to the Davy Crockett National Forest, we also have many deer and other critters in the woods behind the house. There are no visible neighbors, access is by a dirt road. Star gazing here is amazing! It's also only 30 minutes to either Crockett or Lufkin.

You and your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located 3 bedroom 1 bath that comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests. Rates are based on occupancy of 2 guests, and each additional guest is $10. The home is completely furnished, and includes all you need for a comfortable stay! If you are visiting friends and family, in the area for local attractions, or just passing through, you will feel at home here.

Escape to our beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath home located on a peaceful cul-de-sac with nearly 2 acres of property to enjoy. This open concept home is perfect for families or groups looking for a peaceful getaway with just a 10-minute drive away from Lake Livingston boat ramps. This stylish, peaceful space is perfect for small adult getaways. Located on a quiet dead end street, it offers a safe, relaxing place to unwind. The home has two bedrooms, one king and one queen, plus two separate bathrooms and a full size kitchen. Just minutes from the square and the loop, making it easy to get anywhere you need. No pets or small children, please.

Henry’s Houston County Lake

At Henry’s you will enjoy private dock access to Houston County Lake (Crockett, TX) — not to be confused with Lake Houston. Outdoor fire pit, grill, and kayaks make the perfect getaway for family and friends. Please note that Henry’s is not accessible, being there is a step onto the front/back porches and multiple levels of outside staircases leading to the dock.
